Easy to ApplySWD 1929R coating was first applied in January of 1968 as a protective coating for polyurethane foam roof insulation and quickly used on many other types of surfaces. The UL and ICC approved coatings have excellent adhesion to a variety of new and existing roofs, walls, tanks, silos, equipment and many other surfaces. SWD 1929R and 1929F "Kool-Kote" white reflective coatings when spray-applied, brushed or rolled on roof surfaces, may reduce the surface temperature of the roof by 50% or more while reflecting the sun's rays more effectively than aluminum, gravel or other roofing surfaces. White energy efficient reflectance roof coatings dramatically reduce energy and life-cycle costs while lowering roof and interior temperatures.
SWD 1929R and 1929F 'Kool-Kote" acrylic elastomeric coatings are accepted by all major model building code authorities for Class 'A' and Class 'B' constructions over many different types of spray-applied polyurethane foams, including UL-Construction No.s 36, 181, and 236. SWD 1929F is also approved for use as a 'General Purpose Fire Retardant Coating' over polyurethane foams on combustible and non-combustible roof decks with UL723 and UL 790 approvals.
